During my adult life I’ve witnessed how the world is evolving rapidly, and how humanity is actively creating a world of convenience, ignoring our natural surroundings, abusing resources and getting comfortable in isolation.
As an observer, I believe this pandemic has become a time of de-isolation and understanding the importance of supporting those whom support us. We are not alone on this planet, it is a fundamental to be aware of each other to coexist together.
In this series, I’ve documented my local community during this global crisis, in Esk, Australia. I captured the essential heroes in relation with their working environment, creating a connection on how they affect each other and how they nurture a sustainable network.
We’re quite fortunate to be in a part of the world that hasn’t been highly affected by the virus. However, it’s important to adapt to these circumstances and maintain social responsibilities into daily considerations, while we embrace these uncertain times. We’re working from the distance to take care of each other, because we are in this: Alone, Together.
